Festival season is once again upon us. It's a trying time, but with a little help from peta2, you might just make it out unscathed. Enter to win a funky three-person tent (pictured below). The tent was kindly donated by our friends at Funky Leisure, which stocks the coolest festival gear we've seen all summer! But first, check out the following list of our top tips:
- Do take provisions. Festivals prey on the disorganised, and you'll end up paying a tenner for a pack of wet wipes! Essentials include wet wipes, a hoodie, sunglasses, veggie snacks, deodorant (a plentiful supply!), wellies, a torch, suncream, spare socks and some headache pills! Find brands which don't test on animals here.
Don't be afraid to get dirty. If you are afraid, then stay at home. There's no avoiding it! Remember you're on holiday, and let your (greasy) hair down, you priss!
- Do take advantage of the great veggie food at festivals! You can find yummy veggie burgers galore, but don't go too mad. Remember that toilet facilities are substandard, to put it mildly!
- Don't forget toilet paper. As mentioned above, toilet facilities are dreadful. It is imperative that you remember some bog roll! There's nothing bleaker than walking around a field on the verge of tears, crying out for toilet paper.
- Do keep your valuables – like cameras, money, etc – on your person. Thieves are rife at festivals, and they know all your genius hiding places. That said, don't take anything which is too valuable. You risk losing it, dropping it in the mud or leaving it at the veggie-burger stand!
- Don't think you can avoid carrying a tent by bunking with other people when you're there. Big mistake! Take a tent, or you'll be sleeping outside!

Now, enter our contest to win your very own three-person tent! All you need to do is enter to win! The contest ends on 6 August, and winners will be notified by 8 August.
Good luck, campers!
